Gene sits down with Michael Ocasio, CEO of the Small Business Development Corporation of Orange County. SBDC-OC operates under the state's public municipal bank called " IBank" ( the California Infrastructure & Economic Development Bank)
The SBDC provide many business financing assistance programs including but not limited to financing or guarantees for NON-PROFITS, a venture capital fund and a direct micro loan program . The SBDC's main activity is to issue loan guarantees to commercial banks to motivate them to make direct loans to small businesses who wish to expand and create additional jobs.
